We’re excited to welcome your family to the adventure of Cub Scouting with Pack 32! Joining is simple, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Here, you’ll find a detailed breakdown of the registration process, organized into easy-to-follow steps. From completing the application to preparing for your first meeting, we’ve included everything you need to get started. You’ll also find a uniform guide to ensure your Scout is ready for their new journey.
We understand that joining Cub Scouts can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but don’t worry — we’ve got you covered! This page is designed to walk you through everything you need to know, step by step. It may seem like a lot, but we recommend taking it one step at a time. Each part is simple and manageable, and we’re here to help every step of the way. Before you know it, you’ll be all set and ready for your Scout’s first meeting! Just remember, we’re here to support you and make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Begin your Cub Scouting journey by completing the application for each interested child. You have two convenient options:
Online Registration (Preferred Method): Complete the online application and pay enrollment fees for the remainder of the calendar year online. To register online, you’ll need to create an account at https://www.scouting.org.
Paper Form: Download the application form in English or Spanish, fill it out, and return it to a Pack leader.
Note: If you choose to complete the paper application, bring all paperwork and payment to our next regular den meeting. We will submit it to the Blue Grace Council office, where they will enter it into our Scoutbook Management System. Once the application is processed, you will receive an email inviting you to connect to Scoutbook.
Feel free to choose the best option for your family, and let’s get started!
Every participant in BSA activities, including parents, guardians, and siblings, is required to complete the BSA’s Annual Health and Medical Record (AHMR) form.
BSA regulations prohibit Pack 32 from storing electronic copies of the AHMR. While we prefer paper submissions, we understand some may wish to submit electronically. When submitting the form keep the following in mind:
Email Submission: If you choose to email the form, be aware of the risks associated with email and cloud storage security. Additionally, if the email recipient cannot print the form, a paper copy will still need to be provided to Pack Leadership.
Paper Submission: Paper forms can be submitted directly to your Den Leader, Cubmaster, Committee Chair, or a designated Committee Member.
Use a Computer: Download the PDF and fill it out electronically. This ensures the information, especially medications or emergency contacts, is clear and legible. Accurate information is critical in emergencies.
Keep a Digital Copy: Save a completed version of the form on your computer to simplify updates for future years.
Questions about the form? Consult the BSA's FAQs or contact a Pack/Den Leader.
Be sure to include a copy of your proof of insurance with the completed form.
Note: The AHMR also includes a publicity release section.
Thank you for helping us ensure the safety and preparedness of everyone involved in Pack 32!
Cub Scouting is a fun experience for both Scouts and parents, and we’d love to find ways for you to be involved that are enjoyable for you. Whether you can offer a little time or a lot, we’d be grateful for any support you can provide. Your enthusiasm, skills, and ideas are what make our program great for the Scouts and their friends.
Please take a moment to fill out the Online Family Talent Survey.
This isn’t a commitment! It’s just a way for us to know who can help in different areas. Most of the questions are optional, so feel free to skip any that don’t apply. We appreciate you taking the time to share with us!
We encourage all pack families to request access to our Pack Portal, where you’ll find everything you need to stay connected and informed. The portal is the hub for event details, cubby notes, pack photos, and other pack-specific resources designed to enhance your family’s Cub Scouting experience.
To request access, please fill out this Google Form.
One of our pack volunteers will review your request and grant access once your child(ren)'s enrollment in the pack is confirmed.
When your Scout joins Pack 32, they receive a FREE Pack T-Shirt! Just fill out the Pack 32 T-Shirt Order Form to let us know their size, and we’ll make sure they get their shirt.
Each rank has specific uniform requirements, and Pack 32's Uniform Guide provides a detailed overview of what to purchase and what to skip.
All Scouts will need the handbook for their den. Handbooks can be purchased when you purchase uniforms. Handbooks are "Boredom Busters," full of exciting activities that turn any dull day into an Epic Adventure.
Uniforms and Handbooks can be purchased online at https://www.scoutshop.org or by visiting a Scout Shop near you. Directions to the two closest scout shops to Versailles are available below.
