If a Cub Scout has completed the first grade (or is 8 years old), the scout may start earning the Wolf Rank. Wolves continue to develop in the Six Core Areas, but also start learning skills, like basic Compass Use, Computing, and simple fun of Paper Airplanes. Beginning with Wolfs, adult partners are not required to attend meetings and activities, however we'd love for you to share in the fun. The Scout will need a Wolf Scout Handbook, and a Wolf Neckerchief when embarking on Wolf portion of the Cub Scout Trail.
To earn the Wolf badge of rank, scouts must complete six required adventures and choose two elective adventures. Scouting America offers detailed information about these required and elective adventures, including step-by-step instructions for completing them, on their website.
